Xbox Live Dashboard Upgrade

With the popular Kinect, which now gives users the ability to navigate through their device via voice and gesture command, Microsoft looks to add more applications to its already large dashboard, which consists of Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Bing etc. The new layout is taken from the Windows Phone and WIndows 8 interface. It also incorporates the the cloud storage feature. The dashboard is a big change from the previous one. It lets users interconnect the different apps, making it easier for users to find what they are looking for.
Microsoft is looking to add HBO to its line off apps as well, meaning, after users are resting from a game of  Call of Duty, they can take a break and watch How to Make it in America, all on their Xbox. This spells struggles for Google TV and Apple TV. Microsoft can thank their millions of subscribers for this.
